Puss and Butterfly

Here, a puss is seen putting a butterfly to flight, showing one of each of the two main kinds of wight.

Wightlore (English: zoology) is the share of lifelore that deals with the lore of living wights. Within wightlore, there are two branches. The first is ridged wightlore, dealing with wights with a backbone, such as sucklewights, birds, fishes, and creeping things. The other is ridgeless wightlore, which deals with unbackboned wights like bugs, crabs, snails, squid, namby-pambies, and worms.
