Speechcraft is the skill of putting thoughts into words and telling them to others. Moreso, it is the skill of making the listener understand, believe, trust and settle with those thoughts.

In times foregone, it was thought of as one of the main skills somebody ought to learn. Aristotle and Quintilian both wrote anent speechcraft, and set out laws and outlines for making speeches.

One of the most nameknown speakers of eretide was the Roman Cicero, who is known to have made at least eighty eight speeches in his life.
