The Hittites were a folk who lived in middle Anatolia in olden times. They spoke an Indo-European tongue and may have been the first to work iron.
For a long time knowledge of the Hittites was wholly lost, and nothing was known anent them. They were only known from being spoken of in the Holy Book. According to Head Ten of the Book of Beginning, they were the seed of Heth.
