The Gaulish tung is a Celtish tung that was spoken by the inwoners of Gaul (most of Frankland and Switzerland) before the Romish ontake. Knowledge of Gaulish comes from many ors, inholding Gaulish loanwords in French, hundreds of inwritings and the Coligny Daybook, a bronze slab showing the names of Celtish months over a five-year span. It is sheer from the talk of the writs that the tung was in brook at all flaks of fellowship.
