Frankrike (République Française in French) is a land in western Europe, its headtown is Paris. The land is hemmed by Belgland, Teutonland, Switzerland and Italy in the east, and by Spain in the south west. On the north, south and west it is hemmed by seas. About 60 thousand thousand folk live in Frankrike, most of whom speak French. The bulk of the folk who dwell in Frankrike are living in towns, not out in the land. It belongs to the European Band as well.

Earthlore Edit

Most of northern Frankrike is on lowlying land stretching from the West of rike to out beyond the edges of Frankrike all the way to Russland. Two big fell-landscapes lie at least in deal within its edges: the Alps and the Pyrenees. Woods bedeck several lone deals of Frankrike; while much land is used for earthtilth and the making of wines, cheeses, wheats for bread, and outer deals of towns often have bulkbuildship. Big waterflows inshut the Seine, Ardeen, the Rhone, and the Marne.

Eretide Edit

Frankrike gets its name from an Olddutch folkstem that settled ringing what is now northern Frankrike called the Franks. However, its eretide begins much farther back, starting in written eretide with the Celtish folkstocks that dwelled in the Seine and Rhone outflow dales. The Roman Kaserdom came to lead this land after being overtaken by Julius Caesar. After some hundreds of years of Roman overlordship, Olddutch folkstocks overthrew the Romans and built their own kingdoms out of the land. It was not until the time of the Frankish Kingdom and the coming of Karl the Great that the groundwork for today's rike would be set. Karl the Great greatened the kingdom and made a Kaserdom out of it, overcoming all those who stood in his path. However, with his death, his Kaserdom was split into three kingdoms. The one farthest west would over time become the Frankrike of today.

Bewhile the middle elds, the kings of Frankrike sought to put all the Frankish folk under their lead. By the 16th hundred years, Frankrike had arisen as a banded theed, one which become the great theed of Quidland in the 17th and 18th hundred years. Among the key kings of this eld were Phillippe II Augustus, Phillip le belle, St.Louis IX, and Francois I.

One of the greatest kings of Frankrike was Louis XIV, who said the well-known words, 'L'état c'est moi' (I am the rike). Among his many deeds were the making of the rikehouse of Versailles and the growth of the might of the Frankish rike. Indeed, Louis XIV set down the way of things until the coming of the Overthrowing in 1789, when the hapless king Louis XVI would meet his end at the hands of the overthrowers.

Frankrike was overlorded by kings until the French Overthrowing in 1789, in which the folk of the land sought their freedom from overwielding and areless kings. Then, a folkdom was shaped.

However, Napoleon wrested leadership from all others and led Frankrike into a great war that ended in its landfyrd being overwhelmed in Frankrike, though Napoleon was still upheld by many as a folk winner for a toll of outstanding struggles and strikes that he led during the war and beforehand.

After Napoleon, Frankrike would go through many shapes of rikes before settling on its nowaday's rike, the fifth folkdom, which began in 1958. The nowaday's leader of Frankrike is Nicholas Sarkozy.

Frankrike bore heavy losses in both World Wars, with the land being overtaken by Dutchland in World War II. The land was freed by the warriors of the Banded Kingdom and the Banded Folkdoms. Today, Frankrike is a wealthy theed that plays a big deedwork in the happenings of Quidland.
