A wordfastening is a small word that is fastened to the beginning or end of a word, the first called a "forefastening", the after an "endfastening". This leaf will have a foredrawn of at least the most weighty fore- and endfastenings that are brooked n Anglish. See also Likening of Onfastenings by Tongue.
